Default Question about the plugin system

If I understand it correctly, every plugin's OnQipMessage() is called on every occurring event?!
Wouldn't it be better to provide some sort of RegisterForEvent() to minimize the overhead caused by calls to the plugins?

EDIT: Oh and just another question:
Did a quick log, why is the GetPluginInfo() function called so many times by QIP?

Because lord INF is the real programmer. Rather tell nothing more or you'll soon end like I did.
